Understanding and Managing Concurrency Limits for Large-Scale Video Generation
Last updated: January 29, 2026
When planning large-scale video generation campaigns using SyncLabs AI, it's important to understand the concurrency limits and best practices for optimal performance.
Concurrency Limits
SyncLabs has concurrency limits set for each customer to ensure consistent performance across all users. These limits affect the number of simultaneous video generations that can be processed.
Important: Paid plans have no daily cap on video creation. Your throughput is limited by concurrency (how many videos can process simultaneously), not by a maximum number of videos per day. Free tier users receive 3 free lipsync generations per month. Duration limits mentioned in pricing plans (such as "up to one minute length") refer to the maximum length of each individual video, not a cumulative monthly limit.
Concurrency limits by plan tier:
Hobbyist: 1 simultaneous video generation
Creator: 3 simultaneous video generations
Growth: 6 simultaneous video generations
Scale: 15 simultaneous video generations
For large campaigns requiring higher concurrency or longer video durations, temporary increases may be possible upon request.
Per-video duration limits by plan:
Free: 20 seconds
Hobbyist: 1 minute
Creator: 5 minutes
Growth: 10 minutes
Scale: 30 minutes
Planning Large Campaigns
When planning a campaign that requires generating a large number of videos:
Contact SyncLabs support well in advance to discuss your needs.
Provide details such as the total number of videos, estimated AI portion per video, and your desired timeframe.
Request a temporary increase in concurrency limits if necessary.
Allow ample time for video generation. Even with increased limits, large campaigns may take several hours or days.
Best Practices for Large-Scale Generation
Start your campaign as early as possible to allow for unexpected delays. Remember that concurrency limits affect how many videos process simultaneously, not your total daily capacity.
Space out your API requests. A good rule of thumb is to send requests 10 seconds apart to avoid rate limiting.
Monitor your generation progress and adjust your timeline if needed.
Consider breaking very large campaigns into smaller batches for more manageable processing.
Future Improvements
SyncLabs is continually working to improve our system's performance and capabilities. Keep an eye out for announcements about new API versions that may offer improved throughput and a smoother experience for large-scale video generation.
Remember: SyncLabs AI is optimized for high-quality video generation rather than maximum throughput in short periods. Plan your campaigns accordingly to ensure the best results.
