Context
You see a charge from "SYNCHRONICITY", "SYNCHRONICITY LABS", or "SYNCHRONICITY LABS INC" on your bank or credit card statement and want to know what it is.
Answer
SYNCHRONICITY LABS INC is the legal entity behind Sync (sync.so) — the AI lip sync platform. If you see this name on your statement, it means one of the following:
Subscription charge — Your monthly Sync subscription (Hobbyist $5/mo, Creator $19/mo, Growth $49/mo, or Scale $249/mo)
Usage charge — Usage-based billing for lip sync generations. These are triggered automatically when your accumulated usage reaches your plan’s invoice threshold ($6 for Hobbyist, $20 for Creator, $50 for Growth, $250 for Scale)
Outstanding invoice — Payment for a previously failed invoice that was retried by Stripe
How to verify the charge
Log in to your account at sync.so
Go to Billing in the left-hand sidebar
Click Manage Billing to view your Stripe billing portal
Check your invoice history — the dates and amounts should match your bank statement
I don’t recognize this charge at all
If you don’t have a Sync account or didn’t authorize the charge:
Check if someone else in your household or team signed up using your card
If you’re certain the charge is unauthorized, contact us and we’ll investigate. Please include the charge amount, date, and the last 4 digits of the card that was charged
How to cancel and stop future charges
Log in to sync.so
Go to Billing in the left-hand sidebar
Click Cancel Subscription in the top-right corner
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm
After canceling, you’ll maintain access through the end of your current billing cycle. No additional subscription charges will occur, but any outstanding usage charges will still be billed.
